MenuCalories is provided by Dzmitry Bukuyazau, Poland ("Developer"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the App.
The App allows you to take or select a photo of a restaurant menu. The photo is analyzed by AI (Claude Vision by Anthropic) to identify dishes and provide estimated calorie and nutritional information. Full functionality requires an active subscription or trial period.
Nutritional estimates are generated by AI and may not reflect exact values. Actual calories and macros depend on portion sizes, preparation methods, and specific ingredients used by each restaurant. The App is intended as a helpful guideline and should not be relied upon for medical or dietary decisions without consulting a professional.
Photos submitted for analysis are transmitted securely to our servers, processed by the Claude Vision API, and discarded after processing. Photos are not stored permanently or used for any purpose beyond generating your nutritional analysis. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We use Anthropic (Claude API), Cloudflare, and PostHog to operate the App (see Privacy Policy). Menu photos are shared only with Anthropic for AI analysis and are not permanently retained.
The App and all related IP are owned by the Developer. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to health decisions made based on AI-generated nutritional estimates. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nutritional estimates are approximations and not guaranteed to be accurate.
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Warsaw, Poland. You agree to attempt informal negotiation via support@menucalories.app for at least 30 days before filing a claim.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect 14 days after in-App and website notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
