Need help with MenuCalories? We're here to assist you.
Take a photo of any restaurant menu (or pick one from your photo library). The app sends the image to Claude Vision AI, which reads every dish on the menu and estimates calories, protein, carbs, and fat for each item. Results are displayed in a clean, structured list.
The AI provides reasonable estimates based on the dish name, description, and common preparation methods. Estimates may vary from actual values depending on portion size, specific ingredients, and restaurant preparation. Use them as a helpful guideline rather than an exact count.
The camera is used to take photos of restaurant menus. You can also grant photo library access to select an existing photo instead. Without camera or photo access, the app cannot analyze menus.
MenuCalories works with menus in most languages and across all cuisine types. The AI can read and understand menus in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and many more.
No. An internet connection is required because menu analysis is performed by the AI on our servers. The photo is sent securely for processing and results are returned to your device.
